Previously On GEME​

In July 2022, We launched the first generation of GEME on kickstarter. It is the first time we did the kickstarter project. We funded €30k+ in the 28 days, from 80+ backers' kindly support all over the world.

It's much lower than we expect, because the concept of turn food waste into compost, is not really new at that time. There are some other brands that already use it, but bring products that not really did the job well.

Many people ask us this question many times. I think this question worth for a blog to explain it.

GEME Composter is the world's easiest way for home composting, it is challanging any other products so far by 2023. GEME is the world's only one product that use biotchenology method for real composting in Amazon online stores.

Although all of these similar products share the same mission: food waste recycling.

However, all others are dehydrating based composter, they are not really do composting.

Food waste processing is a hard problem to solve. Many municipalities spent tons of effort to collect, dispatch, process and landfill them. Inspired by modern software architecture called distributed systems. How about solve the waste problem in the distributed system design thinking model? Eliminate them in place! When more and more people join the movement, it can significantly reduce the carbon footprint in the earth.
